Does the management company keep the $100 fee as listed in the Ontario Condo Act 1998?
Absolutely! You keep it all plus the benefit of having ZERO associated printing costs.
Do I have to change my current process?
Nope! Your process stays exactly the same. You do the same work as usual, but with Conduit, you save the ordering hassles, your money is guaranteed, you pdf and upload instead of printing and binding. There really is no reason you shouldn’t be signed up
How much does it cost?
CONDUIT is 100% free to use by any management company of any size. There are no minimums and we don’t even have a setup fee!
Can we still do paper if someone doesn't want to do it online?
If someone these days still wants paper, they can order it the old fashion way with a cheque/cash in your office and then come back to your office to pick up paper. However, with little exception, today’s savvy customers want convenience and electronic.
I can't find my unit, what do I do now?
Unfortunately we have some property management companies that are reluctant to change and technology. If you can’t find your unit it’s likely that they are still going paper requests without electronic payment and a management system.

How much training is required?
Typically a 1-2 hours session is all you need. Yes, that’s all, but if you need more, we don’t charge for it. We have an awesome support team available to assist you throughout for any use of Conduit.

Every condominium corporation is different, but some of the standard documents you can expect are items like, but not limited to:
- Details of the Reserve Fund
- Declaration
- Insurance Certificate
- Rules & Regulations
- By-Law(s)
- Budget

How much does it cost?
Conduit’s modest $37.00 Convenience Fee provides you with the convenience of ordering, paying, and picking up your status certificate online/digitally, right from your computer.
This will assist in not having to pay cash, or retrieve a certified cheque, drop it off to the Property Management company, and return within 10 days to pick up your paper status certificate. It is for the Convenience of ordering and receiving your status certificate digitally.
Note that this is not part of the status certificate fee as set out in the Condo Act nor part of the property management company’s fees.

What is a Status Certificate?
A status certificate is a special document that provides information on the full financial picture of a particular Unit and the condominium corporation. It is critical for all condo buyers to have their lawyer review the status certificate before executing a Purchase of Sale agreement.
What is typically included in the Status Certificate?
Every condominium corporation is different, but some of the standard documents you can expect are items like, but not limited to:
- Details of the Reserve Fund
- Declaration
- Insurance Certificate
- Rules & Regulations
- By-Law(s)
- Budget
What are Common Elements?
Are shared areas in the condominium corporation, sometimes referred to as Common Use Areas. Also included in this are any Amenities the condo has to offer such as a BBQ patio, guest suite, or a party room as some examples.
How do I change my email address?
Currently you are not able to change or update your email address as it’s associated directly into your Order #. However, if it is incorrect, or you no longer have access, you can still use that email to Log In and check the status every 1-2 days to see if it’s available for download.
How do I request a Refund?
Refunds are only authorized by the Property Management company responsible for the issuance of the status certificate. Therefore you must contact them with your Order # and request the refund. If approved, the Property Management company will email us directly to authorize the refund. This can typically happen within 1-2 business days.
What is the difference between Suite and Unit number?
In the simplest terms, there is no difference. Suite and Unit are used interchangeably and typically reference your actual door number.
In the Condominium industry, there are usually 3 descriptors to your suite:
